| 授業の目的 | Travel English Conversation 2 aims to help students to improve their general conversational English ability and gain confidence in speaking English both in Japan and when travelling. Classes will involve audio, video and speaking tasks to further develop listening and speaking skills and the vocabulary and expressions to successfully travel abroad using English. 旅行英会話2は、一般的な英会話能力を向上させ、日本国内および旅行先での英会話に自信を持てるようにすることを目的としています。授業では、オーディオ、ビデオ、スピーキングタスクを用いて、リスニングとスピーキングのスキルをさらに向上させ、英語を使って海外旅行を楽しむためのボキャブラリーや表現を身につけます。 |
| 到達目標 | By the end of the course, students will be able to talk with fellow travellers in English, arrange an excursion, ask about lost items, bargaining at a market, visiting someone's home, and ordering food in a restaurant.コース終了時には、旅行者と英語で会話し、小旅行の手配、落とし物の問い合わせ、マーケットでの値切り交渉、誰かの家を訪問し、レストランで料理を注文することができるようになります。 |
| 授業外学修内容・授業外学修時間数 | Students will need to preview the unit and check new vocabulary before class (15 minutes) and review and practice the dialogues after class each week (at least 45 minutes). At least one hour of homework is required each week.授業前にユニットの予習と新しい語彙の確認（15分）、毎週授業後にダイアログの復習と練習（45分以上）が必要です。 毎週最低1時間の宿題が必要です。 |

| 成績評価の方法 | The final grade will be based on the following criteria: 1) Class participation 30% 2) Unit quizzes (small tests): 30% 3) Homework 25% 3) Presentation: 15% |
| フィードバックの内容 | Unit tests will be graded in class and discussed. Feedback will also be given in class on student effort to communicate and speaking skills, such as pronunciation, fluency and use of vocabulary and expressions. The final speaking test will be based on theses criteria. A rubric will be provided in the first class. |
