Seminar

The theme of the Yoshida Seminar is "Economic Analysis of Environment, Resources, and Tourism. The contents of the seminar are as follows.
First, we will read and discuss the textbook in groups. Each student will read the textbook "Introduction to Natural Resource Economics" by Barry C.Field, summarize the assigned sections, and prepare a resume in Word or PowerPoint for presentation.
The next step is fieldwork. Fieldwork will be conducted at sightseeing spots such as Nara, Kyoto, and Hyogo or natural parks (specific locations to be determined), and interviews or surveys will be conducted.
Finally, there will be a statistical analysis exercise. The data obtained from the fieldwork will be statistically analyzed using Excel or SPSS to derive results.
