Seminar
The aim of this seminar is to help students think and act on their own through self-directed research and analysis, as well as writing theses. In the second year, we set a research theme on which students produce reports in a group, followed by presentation opportunities, such as on-campus seminar contests. Until now, we have conducted field research on the declining birth rate in Shinagawa and Odawara. In the third year, we learn statistical analysis as an analytical tool, which serves as the groundwork for preparing a thesis. In the fourth year, each student produces a thesis on the basis of one theme per student.
